"Nioh" director  Fumihiko Yasuda has been noted as saying that a follow-up to the original game is definitely under consideration. It should be noted that "Nioh" has received critical praise after releasing the Japan native game in the U.S. and Europe. In the meantime, Amazon is currently offering the JRPG at discounted prices.

Future Collector's Edition Strategy Guide Now Available On Amazon

The online retail store has discounted the recently released "Nioh" to $39.99, which is 30 percent off the original launch price of the game. The listing reveals that the JRPG is a fantastical and dark vision of 16th century Japan with gamers fighting alongside and against legendary heroes and villains of the Sengoku period. "Nioh" also features every fighting style with combinations of attacks and dodges specific to a variety of authentic samurai weapons including katanas, polearms and axes.

In addition, Amazon is also offering the upcoming "Nioh" Collector's Edition Strategy Guide with a 28 percent discount, Game Idealist reported. The guide packs countless hours, monumental victories and innumerable deaths digging deeper into the deep and expansive world of "Nioh." The guide also features a myriad of combat options and strategies as well as history and mythology of Japanese culture.

Meanwhile, news have been circulating that Team Ninja is gearing up for a "Nioh" sequel. It should be noted that Team Ninja is the mind behind the venerable "Ninja Gaiden" franchise. As for "Nioh," Team Ninja started developing the game more than a decade ago and the JRPG has faced an arduous production cycle and saw multiple revisions before becoming the game it is known today, PSU reported.

"Nioh" combines hack n slash combat with the elements of a role-playing game set against the backdrop of a dark fantasy in the year 1600, Japan. "Nioh" players embark on a mission controlling a western Samurai named William. The game made a worldwide launch in February 2017 and has since gained commercial success with over one million copies shipped worldwide in the first two weeks of sale.
