Gran Turismo Sport Patch 1.04 Finally Brings King Of Endurance Porsche; 4K Resolution Possible

"Gran Turismo Sport" publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment recently rolled the curtains away to debut the Porsche car coming into the game. Two Porsche 911 GT3 RS were featured in action via a 4K gameplay trailer. Moreover, the driver animations of "Gran Turismo Sport" are also very detailed.

New Tracks Revealed

It has been over two decades of "Gran Turismo" history without a Porsche. After the developer released Update 1.04 and commenced the European Closed BETA, the much loved Porsche vehicle was introduced. The Porsche exhibits exemplary strength in motorsports and has many victories in endurance racing. The Porsche is famous as the "King of Endurance."

Previously, a few Porsche screenshots have been revealed showing new tracks coming to "Gran Turismo Sport." Now the trailer features actual gameplay of two Porsche cars racing on the dangerously narrow corner of Nürburgring Nordschleife. Beta gamers may note that the track features bumps along the asphalt road sending traction all over the place.

"Gran Turismo Sport" who own 4K-capable televisions may run the game in crisp 4K resolution. In addition, there is also a new video that surfaced online that shows racing from the beta. It is expected that the upcoming racing game will be launch as a PS4 exclusive this year.

However, Sony Interactive Entertainment is yet to confirm a firm release date as of this writing. Other vehicle names were derived from races like Panamera, Targa and Carrera showing signs of a deep historical relationship running alongside motorsport, a crucial part of the Porsche's DNA.

Delayed Release Did Wonders For Upcoming Racing Game

In other news, "Gran Turismo Sport" did not prove to be a huge success when it was originally revealed. However, the delay is said to have done a lot of good to the game, Gamingbolt reported. The game is said to feature details that give it that much-needed authenticity.

The "Gran Turismo Sport" new gameplay video running on the PS4 Pro shows stunning technical aspects. Moreover, the game's texture work and the lighting, shadows, and reflections are said to be jaw dropping. The driver animation also features the driver checking the map as he drives like in real life.
