'Mobile Legends' Advanced Server Vexana Rework Review: Here's Why Some Players Prefer the Original Version

Based on the leaked videos, the character's rework looks pretty awesome. However, some "Mobile Legends" gamers said that they are disappointed with the revamped version of Vexana.

Now, let's check the skills of the revamped and the original versions of Vexana.

Revamped Vexana Vs. Original Vexana

According to the Mobile Legends report, the original Vexana's skills are not that complicated. Its passive creates an explosion that deals magic damage after the character kills a minion or champion.

Its first skill slows and scares enemy heroes for around 1.5 seconds. On the other hand, its second deals enormous magic damage in the surrounding area.

Meanwhile, the Curse Oath (Last Skill), is used against heroes only. Those who are inflicted with Vexana's last skill will slowly lose HP. After a few seconds, Vexana will have an illusion that copies the targeted hero's normal attack damage, armor, magic resistance, as well as their appearance.

On the other hand, AFK Gaming reported that the revamped Vexana version's abilities are quite different from the original skills.

  • First Skill: Can only target one hero. After a few seconds, the affected hero will explode, and all the nearby enemies will also be affected by the debuff effect.
  • Second Skill: Vexana can now control the time of the explosion, allowing her to have the right timing.
  • Last Skill: Instead of poisoning enemy heroes, the last skill of revamped Vexana will summon a Golem. Enemies in the casting area will receive some magic damage. After that, Vexana can control the Golem to attack her enemies.

Why Do Gamers Prefer Original Vexana?

Some players claimed that the original Vexana is better than the revamped version. They explained that the character's current version allows them to one-shot enemy heroes.

Well, this is true, given that her last skill will continuously deal magic damage after being cast. They also argued that they could make enemy hero copies to suit their needs.

For example, if they don't have a tank or marksman, Vexana can use her ult on the enemy tank or ADC. After a few seconds, the illusion can deal physical damage equal to the enemy marksman.

But, other gamers prefer the new Vexana since they can have a new gaming experience. As of writing, the revamped version is still only available on the "Mobile Legends" advanced servers.

Moontoon hasn't yet confirmed her official launch date. But, there's a high chance that the new version will be released before 2022 ends.
