Watch Dogs Developers Give Insight Into the Game In New Trailer; PS4 Version To Run At Full HD, Xbox One Maybe Not? [VIDEO]

Watch Dogs Developer Interview Gives Some Insight Into the Making Of the Game

We've been quite inundated with Watch Dogs news recently, but the news just keeps on rolling. In a video published today, the Watch Dogs team at Ubisoft Montreal dished about the game's location, its quality on the multiple systems it's set to appear on, and the resolution that the game will run on on PS4.

The video treats us to a little walk-through of Ubisoft Montreal first off, so that's nice. They're just like us!

The developers also go over the choice of Chicago, and reveal that Chicago was just too huge to fully encapsulate.

"When we first started, we tried to do a 1:1 accuracy with Chicago itself," Watch Dogs Production Manager Jeffrey Arriola said. "But we later found out that Chicago is massively huge. So what we did was we picked the best of Chicago ... the parts that really make the ambiance, make the life, make the soul of Chicago."

Lars Bonde, the Cinematics Animation Lead, gave some details about the different versions across different consoles.

"The first thing I want to make clear is, at its core, it's the same experience on current gen and on next gen consoles," he said.

And then a little about those next-gen consoles:

"We are utilizing Xbox One to its full capabilities, and same with PS4 of course. So, I know that, as far as, to my knowledge, it's on the PS4 will run full HD."

Ah, but no mention of whether the One version would run at full HD. Interesting.

At any rate, check out the whole video below and let us know what you think.
