Party Animals Developer Reveals New Content Coming Early Next Year

Recreate Games, the developer of the very fun and chaotic fighting game Party Animals, revealed the things that players can expect in the new year.

Start the Year with a Bang

Party Animals is a fun 3D fighting game where players can choose their favorite fuzzy animal characters. The roster includes:

  • Valiente: Cow

  • Underbite: Dinosaur

  • Carrot: Bunny

  • Tiagra: Tiger

  • Macchiato: Cat

  • Nemo: Dog

  • Otta: Otter

  • Morse: Moose

  • Harry: Duck

  • Coco: Crocodile

  • Bacon: Pig

  • Barbie: Gorilla

Unlike other arena fighting games like Super Smash Bros. and Brawlhalla, Party Animals has a very different approach to movement. The controls are clunky at first but once the player gets the hang of it, things become so much fun!

It currently has a "Mostly Positive" rating on Steam, with 74% of people loving the cute characters, as well as the exciting gameplay.

Developer Recreate Games wants to capitalize on the fighting game's success by adding more content in 2024. According to the company, players can expect a huge update that is slated for release at the end of January. This update brings a lot of new content, such as new characters and costumes.

Although it was not revealed how many characters are going to come, the company stated that the new series of outfits will be replacing some of the old ones. Because of this, players are encouraged to spend their hard-earned in-game currency to purchase skins for their favorite characters before they are gone.

A new feature will also be implemented in the January Update for Party Animals called "Friend Pass." This feature will allow those who have already purchased a copy of the game to invite their friends who still do not have it. This is a way for those people to try the game out so they can make an informed decision!

This is a great initiative by Recreate Games. However, it is worth pointing out that the upcoming feature will only be available on PC. This is despite the fact that Party Animals is available to play on Xbox Series X/S as well.

Players can test the Friend Pass feature in the January Update. If all goes well, the company might make it permanent!

Winter Cabin Overhaul

Players who want to take a break from the chaotic brawl will soon have a place to do just that. Recreate Games is going to make changes to the Winter Cabin map, removing the win-by-points system of the original and replacing it with a new tabletop game that everyone can enjoy.

The reason for the overhaul is that the company wants to provide players with a dedicated space for chat and leisure. Expect this to drop along with the new characters and the Friend Pass beta.
