PUBG Creators Await Outstanding Payments, Krafton Responds

A significant number of PUBG content creators are experiencing prolonged delays in receiving payments through the game's 'Creator Appreciation Program.' Creator codes, which allow players to support chosen creators with a 5% share of in-game purchases, have become a source of frustration as payments have been stalled for over four months.

Despite having access to view their earned balances, many creators are unable to withdraw funds, causing financial uncertainty.

Payment Glitches Leave Creators in Limbo

Reports suggest that this issue may be widespread among EU and North America-based PUBG partners, impacting creators who depend on these earnings. While some received partial payments in November, full amounts expected for subsequent months remain outstanding.

TechRadar Gaming interviewed an insider who shared that occasional communications from PUBG publisher Krafton and payment partner Xsolla have explained the delay. However, concrete actions to process the payments have yet to materialize, leaving creators in the dark about when they can access their earnings.

Response and Plans for Resolution

In response to the concerns, Krafton issued a statement acknowledging the technical issue and assuring creators that outstanding payments will be processed by the end of February. The company expressed apologies for the inconvenience and detailed steps taken to prevent future occurrences.

Krafton revealed ongoing efforts to set up Xsolla as a vendor under PHQ's Finance system, with payment processing scheduled for February 15. Simultaneously, the company aims to submit the January invoice, streamlining future transactions and addressing the delayed payments.
