Mounting the Metal Detector

1. Choose Your Vehicle: Before embarking on a mission, select your vehicle. Keep in mind that not all vehicles support metal detectors, so choose wisely.

2. Equip the Detector: Once you've chosen your vehicle, it's time to equip the metal detector. Follow these steps:

  • Access the Devices menu.
  • Navigate to the Exterior section.
  • Scroll down to the Roof category.
  • Select the metal detector to install it on your vehicle's roof.

Detecting Metal Objects

1. Activate the Detector:

While driving around the map, keep an eye on the metal detector. When it starts glowing white, it indicates that something interesting is nearby.

Stop your vehicle (you can pull the handbrake if necessary) but keep the engine running. The metal detector won't work unless your vehicle is on.

Open the Devices menu and select the Metal Detector from the wheel (look for the microphone-like icon on the right side).

2. Scanning and Arrows:

Upon activation, a short animation unfolds, and different colored arrows will extend from your vehicle.

These arrows indicate the type of detected objects:

  • Red arrow: Points to hidden resources.
  • Blue arrow: Indicates item locations.
  • Green arrow: Leads you to upgrades.

If you press the Detect button while scanning, you'll even see details about the scanned object. This feature helps you decide whether the item is worth pursuing at that moment.
