New Palworld Update Makes Base Managing Easier by Simplifying How To Assign Jobs to Pals

Palworld's Latest Update Makes Assigning Jobs to Pals Easier, Adds New Raid Boss

A new Palworld update is making players' lives easier when managing their bases by simplifying how they assign jobs to Pals at home.

This change comes on top of the game's first Raid Boss and can be found as a new addition to the UI. One of the core aspects of Palworld is assigning Pals that players collect to various jobs, helping to build, farm, or many more.

While this is a satisfying process, players have requested a way to streamline the way Pals are assigned to workstations. The developer has fortunately listened to the community and will soon have a new and dedicated menu that will allow players to quickly select what kind of role their Pals should fill.

The new menu would feature a list of all of a player's available Pals on the left alongside a variety of symbols on the right. These can be set to display a check mark, a cross, or simply left blank. They indicate how players will be able to program the different tasks of the Pals that they are training, according to ScreenRant.

The latest update comes as there have already been a number of changes and patches to the game since its initial launch. The vast majority of these have tried to address the game's various bugs and polish the overall player experience.

Future Palworld updates will also be more substantial as they add significant new content to the game through various new features, Pals, and many others. The update to the Monitoring Stand was revealed by Palworld community manager Bucky, who shared a screenshot of the new UI.

When the new update goes live, players will have an easier time managing their base and how their Pals help with their various tasks. Many players have responded positively to the news of the update but some have suggested that base management could be improved even further.

Easier Base Management and New Raid Boss

On the other hand, others have said that the new feature takes things a step further because it would allow players to prioritize certain tasks for Pals instead of simply turning them off. This means that a Pal could complete one task and then move on to the next, less prioritized task, said GameRant.

This new feature is being accompanied by a new raid boss, Bellanoir, which will be the first since the launch of Palworld. Bucky also teased that there would be more than just these coming to the latest update and players are eagerly waiting for the full patch notes.

The trailer for the new raid boss shows a Pal trainer approaching what is seen to be a fiery podium where the new pal emerges. The raid boss can then be seen floating above the trainer as she calls down meteors from the sky in a burning blaze.

Furthermore, there are also rumors going around that Palworld will soon become available to PlayStation 5 players. Despite the game's immediate success, it has been plagued with controversy, primarily with its supposed likeness to Nintendo's Pokemon franchise. However, this has not prevented the developers from coming out with new updates one after the other, according to Esports Illustrated.
