Valorant's Agent 25, Clove, Can Come Back to Life, But With a Twist!

Valorant's Newest Agent, Clove, Has a Game-Changing Ultimate Skill

Valorant's newest playable character, Agent 25 otherwise known as Clove, is able to come back to life but with a twist.

The first-person shooter game's latest roster addition was revealed in a new trailer at the Valorant Masters Madrid tournament. Riot Games showcased Clove after spending several weeks teasing her abilities. She is the latest controller agent who focuses on disrupting enemies and providing utility for her teammates.

But due to her unique and game-changing ultimate, Clove can also be a valuable and lethal agent against foes. The newest agent to the highly popular shooter game will be coming out to the official game on Mar. 26, 2024.

Clove's E ability, known as Ruse, is a basic smoke skill that works very similar to Brimstone's smoke ability. Hitting the button brings up a small window that does not block the entirety of the player's screen. It shows a top-down view area of the map that they are in and allows them to select a location to drop their smoke, according to Forbes.

What's interesting about Clove is that even when the player has died, they can still use this skill, which makes her more useful compared to other controllers in the game. The agent's next ability, her Q, is called Meddle. It is a grande-like throwable that inflicts decay on characters that are hit.

Clove's C ability, known as Pick-Me-Up, is similar to Reyna's kit that lets players absorb the life essence of an enemy that they have killed to gain increased movement speed and a temporary health buff.

Game-Changing Ultimate Skill

But the fun is all in the new agent's ultimate skill, which gives Clove a second chance at life. After the character dies and has this skill ready, they can cast it to come back to life for a short time. If players are able to either get a kill or a damaging assist, they will fully revive. But if they fail to do so, then it's back to the grave they go.

Valorant's gameplay designer, Dan Hardison, said that optimal Clove gameplay is about playing with fire. He said that players need to take risks and trade their own lives to overcome their enemies and remove the foes' utility by killing their agents, said PCGamesN.

On top of the release of the game's Agent 25, Riot Games will also be releasing a brand new skin bundle known as Fortunes Hand, featuring a scepter melee and a set of beautiful player cards. The skin bundle includes golden guns and despite their exterior, the gold and black colors have an inherently regal feel to them.

Every single weapon featured in the new bundle is stamped with a gold Roman numeral to establish Riot's philosophy for them. While the gun skins themselves have not made waves among players, the player cards are a separate matter.

The banners include Cypher, Reyna, Killjoy, Sage, and Fade where the agents can be seen in the same gold and black backdrop. The bundle can be purchased until Mar. 26 or Mar. 27 just before the release of the new patch that brings the latest battle pass, according to OneESports.
