Lords of the Fallen has rolled out its final update, version 1.5, marking a significant milestone for players on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X and S. The update, named "Master of Fate," brings exciting new features and sets the stage for future installments in the franchise.

Master of Fate Update

The Master of Fate 1.5 update ushers in a plethora of fresh features and improvements for Lords of the Fallen. Now, players have the freedom to craft their own gameplay journey with a diverse set of modifiers, guaranteeing every session is distinct and filled with challenges. This update unveils a modifier system, injecting a new level of complexity and personalization into the game. Through this system, players can fine-tune their experience to suit their individual tastes and playstyles.

Among the seven available modifiers are randomized enemy spawns and loot drops, as well as an Ironman mode, transforming Lords of the Fallen into a roguelite experience. This update concludes the series of content updates and performance enhancements that have been continuously delivered over the past six months since the game's launch.

Saul Gascon, Executive Producer and Head of Studio at Hexworks, expressed pride in reaching version 1.5 with the Master of Fate update, stating that it represents the culmination of the post-launch roadmap. Gascon emphasized that this update elevates the Lords of the Fallen experience to its peak, offering players the best possible gameplay.

Future Installments Confirmed

As Hexworks shifts its focus to future projects, including enhancing the design and popularity of the Lords of the Fallen franchise, publisher CI Games has confirmed its commitment to the series. Marek Tyminski, CEO of CI Games, revealed that Lords of the Fallen had reached 1.3 million copies sold by the end of 2023, a testament to its solid performance in the gaming market.

Tyminski emphasized CI Games' dedication to further developing the Lords of the Fallen brand, aiming to attract an even larger player base through refined game design and leveraging the increasing popularity of the franchise. With plans for future installments in the works, fans can anticipate more thrilling adventures in the world of Lords of the Fallen.
