'Just Cause 3' Inbound At E3? Avalanche Studios Registered a Site and Maybe Tweeted About It [RUMORS]

'Just Cause 3' Might Finally Be Coming, Get Excited

Just Cause 3 has been one of those games that's started to feel like a gaming white whale. Rumors have popped up a couple of times over the last couple years, but nothing has come to fruition.

So you'll pardon me for being cautiously optimistic at yet another piece of Just Cause news, but there is some evidence that we may see Just Cause 3 this year, perhaps debuting at E3.

First, there was a domain registered for Just Cause 3 at justcause3game.com, as reported by Gamespot:

"The domain, JustCause3Game.com, was registered on Tuesday by CSC Corporate Domains, a company used by Square Enix and other companies to register URLs in the past. It was found by Internet sleuth Superannuation, who suggests we may see the game at E3 in June."

OK, so I'm getting a little excited now. Now all I'd need is a cryptic tweet from a developer and I'd be truly geeked. Oh, hey, here's Avalanche Studios' Christofer Sundberg, right on cue:

OK, yup, I'm super excited now. In my opinion, Just Cause 2 was one of the most underrated games of last generation, with its huge open world and tons of story and side missions. There's also nothing more fun that latching a tow cable to the head of a dictator statue, attaching the cable to a Jeep and ripping that SOB's head right off.

Let us know what you want to see in the new Just Cause in the comments! (But don't get too excited in case it's not real.)
