'Battlefield 4' Dragon's Teeth DLC News: Map Names & Dog Tags Leak, Footage Incoming [VIDEO, RUMORS]

Wealth of Info Leaks for Battlefield 4' Dragon's Teeth DLC, Video Out This Week to Confirm?

Activision may have caught everyone's attention with its Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare announcement, but EA is still going strong with Battlefield 4 (or at least they're trying to). Case in point, we're set to get our first look later this week at the game's next piece of DLC, Dragon's Teeth. So imagine what a coincidence it is that a whole bunch of rumors have popped up for the DLC, involving potential map names, assignments, dog tags, and more.

Battlefield 4 Walks the Dinosaur With This Easter Egg

First, the rumors. Two random Battlefield 4 fans users are putting a lot of "information" in the Twitter-verse. The source and legitimacy of their "info" is unverified, so take the following information with a grain of salt.

Over the weekend, Matti Hietanen, AKA, Hattiwatt1, let slip some possible map names that will be featured in the Dragon's Teeth DLC:
- Sunken Dragon
- Propaganda
- Pearl Market
- Lumphini Garden

The Megalodon Surfaces on Battlefield 4's Nansha Island

If you recall, we heard similar rumors before. Back in March, a Redditor leaked that the map names for the DLC were Propaganda, Waterfront, Urban Garden, and Marketplace. Said Redditor also claimed that the information was, "taken straight from EA's confluence page." Both this and the new source are at least in agreement on the Propaganda map, but who is correct about the remaining maps?

But that's not all for the rumors today. Turning to the Smythic forums, users elementofprgress and NoctyrneSAGA have unearthed even more. Noctyrne has provided an alleged list of Dragon's Teeth assignments. You can check out the list below, which mentions a new "Chainlink" mode:

Not to be outdone, elementofprgress has also posted dog tags, also alleged to be from the DLC. They're pretty damn humorous, and if authentic, looks like nonsensical easter eggs will continue to be a part of Battlefield lore. Check 'em out below:

The only confirmed info we have on the remaining pieces of DLC is that Dragon's Teeth will feature a two-handed ballistic shield as a new item pick up, but that should change soon enough, as according to a post on the Battlefield Twitter account, Dragon's Teeth footage is set to be revealed this week.

An exact date wasn't provided, but we'll keep our eyes on the official Battlefield YouTube channel, and let you know if anything comes from it. In the mean time, check out the video below detailing Battlefield 4's most recent DLC pack, Naval Strike:
