'Dragon Age Inquisition' E3 2014: VIDEO TRAILER Reveals Fluid Combat & Great-Looking Graphics [RELEASE DATE]

'Dragon Age Inquisition' E3 Trailer Shows Off Fluid Combat, Great-Looking Graphocs

Dragon Age: Inquisition was shown off with a detailed trailer, giving a better look at the gorgeous graphics and gameplay. We've also been given a release date, with the title set to launch on October 7.

The game looks great, and the combat looks more fluid and dynamic than any point in the series before. Unfortunately, that means a departure from the series' more strategic roots as seen in Dragon Age: Origins. Action-based combat seems to have taken over, ditching the pause-and-direct method available in Origins.

It might change what the series was known for, but it looks great nonetheless. Graphically and mechanics wise, it's no doubt an improvement over the sub-par Dragon Age 2, but it does resemble that title more than the first in terms of gameplay. Watch for yourself in the video below, and let us know what you think.
