'Kidnapped' Horror Adventure Available On Steam Greenlight: What Would You Do If You Found Yourself Kidnapped?

You have been kidnapped! What do you do now? That's the idea behind British indie developer Deceptive Games' new title, Kidnapped. The game is now available on Steam Greenlight for PC users.

"Kidnapped tells the tale of Sabastian Lee from Sterling City, Scotland. Sabastian vanished mysteriously without a trace and was never seen again. You take on the role of Sabastian and discover the truth to what happened in the winter of 1992." One imagines that this will not end well for you, even if you manage to elude your captors.

The first person horror adventure emphasizes puzzle and exploration first and foremost, it "aims to unnerve the player continuously". According to the game's website, Kidnapped boasts that nearly 50 percent of all the objects in the game are manipulatable, so be sure to search everywhere. I doubt if clues or solutions will come easily in the game. Be mindful of your choices, what you do will affect future events in Kidnapped's dynamic, ever evolving game world.

The fine folks at Deceptive Games are pleased as punch to be getting this, their debut game, out into the world. "As an indie developer, it's important to get our game out to as many people as possible. Steam greenlight is an excellent way to achieve this." said Gavin Powell, game director for Deceptive Games. "It also helps us receive vital feedback on how the game is shaping up from a player's point of view. All feedback is welcome, be good or bad, it helps us improve the game and us as a developer."
