'Persona 4 Arena Ultimax' Premium Edition Will Launch Exclusively In Japan, Includes Costumes, Soundtrack And More; America Gets Some Free DLC

'Persona 4 Arena Ultimax' Premium Edition Will Launch Exclusively In Japan And Have A Whole Bunch Of Goodies For Fans

The winningest fighting game at E3 this year, Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, will be getting the special edition treatment for its upcoming release in Japan this August.

Kidnapped Psychological Horror Game Now Available On Steam Greenlight

The premium edition will include: the original Persona 4 Arena storymode, custom glasses for all of the fighters and a soundtrack with 12 of the games' songs on it. It will also ship with a very special cover. Fans of the series will be happy to know that the popular Teddie will be available as a navigator voice, as will Mitsuru.

But fear not my fellow North Americans, Atlus has not forsaken us. We may not be getting the premium edition, but the company is still giving away a few goodies. Customers who pre-order the game will receive an inflatable Teddie punching bag, so you can work out your aggression. Teddie wobbles but doesn't fall down? Additionally, for the first week after release, players will be able to download Tohru Adachi, the "Egocentric Police Dick" from the original Persona 4 Arena game as DLC for free.

Midna Gets Her Trailer For Hyrule Warriors

While we were all stuffing ourselves on bbq or hiding from the rains, Atlus put out two new trailers, reintroducing two popular fighters back into the franchise: Naoto, the level-headed police detective, and Kanji, the ambiguous hot head.

Persona 4 Arena Ultimax will be released on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in Japan on August 28, while North America will be getting it a month later on September 30. Stay tuned to GameNGuide for more!
