New Chapter In The Walking Dead Telltale Series 'Amid The Ruins' Released On All Consoles; Season 2's Penultimate Episode May Be Its Best Yet

Today, Find Yourself Amid The Ruins In The Latest Chapter Of Telltale's Walking Dead Franchise

The fourth and penultimate episode of Telltale Games' ambitious and successful The Walking Dead game, titled 'Amid The Ruins' is now available for download on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4 and Steam. The iOS version will hit tomorrow, July 24.

The Last Of Us Remastered New 'Factions' DLC Will Be Awesome

Amid the Ruins continues the story of series protagonist Clementine as she deals with the fall out after escaping from the villainous Carver's encampment. The undead are legion, but predictable. The real terror in the post-apocalyptic world are those who still have hearts, though you will find little compassion in the world of Robert's Kirkman endless zombie series. Your actions will have dire consequences down the line, so do not choose lightly.

Unsurprisingly, the episode has garnered rave reviews. GameTrailers.com awarded the episode a 9.5 out of 10 score, saying, "The writing is the best it's ever been, employing meaningful character development, symbolism, and choice to create a story that's emotionally exhausting," and adding "There's a level of purpose and confidence here that the studio has rarely matched." They declare it to be the best episode of the season.

In my opinion, AMC, the network responsible for The Walking Dead television show has not matched the quality on display in the Telltale games. These are the finest examples of the world, and that includes the original graphic novels.

Thus far, The Walking Dead - A Telltale Game Series have sold over 28 million units across 2 seasons, totaling nine episodes.

There is no better time than now to catch up with all of the remarkable storytelling happening and to get with the program and just play The Walking Dead.
