New Alien Isolation Behind The Scenes Video Features The Cast Of Alien Discussing The Groundbreaking Film And Upcoming Game [VIDEO]

Behind The Scenes, No One Can Hear You Scream: The Cast Of Alien Opens Up About Alien: Isolation

Sega has released a new and tantalizing trailer for the DLC content for the upcoming Alien: Isolation title.

This Batman Figure Is Straight Out Of A Sci-Fi Horror Movie

The video, titled 'The Cast of Alien' is a Behind the Scenes look at the game starring the original cast of the legendary 1979 Ridley Scott film, Alien. Cast members Sigourney Weaver, Tom Skerritt, Veronica Cartwright, Harry Dean Stanton and Yaphet Kotto give the viewer a little of their insight into both the production of the film and their roles in the upcoming DLC, simply titled 'Crew Expendable'.

Knowing how much of a cultural touchstone the original Alien is, it is comforting to learn that the cast realized that during filming, too. Tom Skerritt, who played ship captain Dallas in the film, remarks as much. "I said to Yaphet, y'know, we're doing a classic, you know? He said yeah."

The cast is recording an all new voice track for the game. The video features a few choice snippets of the Nostromo rendered in the in-game engine and very dark shadow of the titular Alien. The lure here is not, however, the game itself, but the people involved. Seeing them wax poetic about their time on set and creating such an enduring piece of pop culture iconography just gets my film heart a-thumping.

Crew Expendable, named because the original team in the film was expendable so long as they got the Alien on board, hits along with the full length Alien: Isolation game on October 7. Watch the video below.

Remember folks, in your living room, no one (except your cat) can hear you scream.
