The Last Of Us Remastered PS4 Bundle Announced, But Odds Are You'll Miss Out On This Deal

The Last Of Us Remastered PS4 Bundle Announced, Limited To Canada

Sony has announced a PlayStation 4 The Last of Us Remastered bundle, but it will only be available in Canada.

Destiny Beta Now Officially Over, The Wait For September Begins

The deal includes a PS4 and a downloadable verison of the upgraded PS3 title, which is set for release tomorrow. It will retail for $449.99 (the current cost of the console alone in Canada), which essentially means you get The Last of Us Remastered for free with your purchase of the console.

The remake, which will retail for a slightly discounted $50 on its own, includes both graphical enhancements and additions to the gameplay. It will run in 1080p at 60 frames per second, leading to a cleaner and smoother experience overall.

Features that take advantage of PS4-specific capabilities have been added well, including the use of the controller speaker to play audio logs. The light bar will flash and change colors to reflect damage, and you can swipe the touchpad to open your inventory.

The well-received Left Behind singleplayer DLC is also included in the remastered edition. A Photo Mode will also be added through a day one patch, allowing you to take screenshots of the improved scenery. You can watch a video of how that mode will work here.

Below is a trailer for The Last of Us Remastered, but be warned that spoilers are present if you did not play the original game on PS3 (something the trailer alerts you of itself, thankfully). The game will be released tomorrow, exclusively on PS4.
