Tecmo Koei has just released a new 30 second spot featuring Link, Zelda and a kick ass rock version of the beloved Zelda theme. They want fans to remember the original The Legend of Zelda, as if we could forget. Some of the 8 bit classic can be seen at the top of the commercial. The series has come a long way since those halcyon days of yore.

Nintendo and Tecmo Koei also announced today that next Tuesday, August 5, players can tune into Nintendo Direct and get a first hand look at what will be shipping in the game come September 19 when Hyrule Warriors launches in Europe. A livestream will air via the Nintendo Direct website here at 5:00 p.m. CEST, or 11:00 a.m. EST here in the United States. The entire stream will be made available for viewing both on Youtube and Nintendo Direct at 8:00 p.m. CEST, 2:00 p.m. EST.

We've had to rely a lot on just looking at the new videos and galleries that have been put up on the site and conjecturing from there due to the language barrier. Next week's broadcast will be a much needed boon and will help to give us more accurate information to you, the Legend of Zelda fan.

Hyrule Warriors hits America on September 26, well over a month after its Japanese release in about two weeks on August 14. Check out the new commercial below.
