Infinity Blade is one of the most downloaded and popular apps currently out on the mobile market. Debuting in 2010, it was years ahead of any competition in terms of graphics capability. It looked like nothing else on smartphones, and now it's coming home.

"Utilizing Sandboxr's sophisticated character customization and 3D printing process, fans of Infinity Blade will have the unique ability to effortlessly customize and order 3D printed statues of their characters from directly within the Infinity Blade III game interface - something that has not been done with any other video game before."

How cool is that? You can equip and pose your character in any way from your phone, then hit a button and bam! in a few weeks, it will arrive at your house.

ChAIR is also offering a selection of limited edition "Hero" statues designed by the Infinity Blade development team.

The companies released a fun and informative behind the scenes video outlining the reasoning and process behind the collaboration. You can watch it below.

"The ability to take something from the virtual world, customize it, and push a button to transform it into the physical world is magic," said Donald Mustard, Co-Founder/Creative Director for ChAIR. "We're excited to introduce collectibles that allow fans to create what they decide is the ultimate expression of their character. We can't wait to see all of their amazing Infinity Blade creations."

I admit I haven't played Infinity Blade III since a wealth of other mobile games keep my attention and let's face it, for the space of one Infinity Blade, you can have at least half a dozen other games. But I've sunk enough time into both the original and sequel to know that I really, really want this. And you should, too!

The prices are reasonable. Custom figures begin at $19.99 for a small, 3.5 inch one and go up to $89.99 for a larger, 5.5 to 6 inch character. Only Siris and Isa are available for customization.

Big spenders can also spring for some limited edition Hero Statues, which are larger and more polished. How about your very own Infinity Blade sword collectible? Or an epic tableau of battle? You can get those too for a fair price. Head on over the official site for pricing and shipping details.
