LG L Series Specs: New 3G Devices L Fino And L Bella Aimed At First-Time Smartphone Owners Worldwide

LG Bringing L Fino and L Bella Phones to Latin American First

LG Electronics announced the release of its L Series phones, a line aimed at teenagers and other first-time smartphone owners around the world. The phones, including the L Fino and L Bella, have a design and screen size reminiscent of more luxury phones. However, they run on older 3G networks and the specs under the screen are in line with their cheaper price.

Still, the phone has a 8MP rear-facing camera and is powered by Android KitKat 4.4.2. The L Fino and L Bella phones come in a variety of colors, including white, gold, black, green and red.

With the L Series, LG is aiming to make affordable phones meant for the whole world.

"With their competitive specs and accessible pricing, we have high hopes for the L Fino and L Bello to continue our successful expansion into emerging markets," said Dr. Jong-seok Park, the president and CEO of the LG Electronics, in a release about the phones.

The smartphones have a fairly aggressive worldwide release schedule, starting in several Latin American countries later this month, followed by Europe and Asia. LG's goal is to dominate the 3G market.

"Our newest L Series smartphones represent the best of LG in design, hardware and UX as well as our commitment to bringing best smartphone experience to 3G customers as many as possible," Park continued.

LG is not revealing specific pricing information besides that the phones' price tag will be "accessible."
