Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City Releases Brutality Trailer

Players looking to tryout the latest Resident Evil title can expect some violence.  Lots of it.  Capcom released  a new video trailer showcasing brutal gameplay scenes from Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City.  Players control combat crew members battle through intense levels, showing no mercy toward zombie and the undead.

Resident Evil: Raccoon City is looking to be quite different from past Resident Evil titles with its action-paced gameplay. The trailer is accompanied by heavy metal music and entertains with various clips of throat slicing, grenade launching, head stomping, and even groin kicking action.  Scenes with flamethrowers and explosions add to the chaos in Capcom's new Brutality trailer.

The four combat players revealed in the trailer, look intimidating with their gas masks and heavy artillery.  One can assume that some teamwork with multiplayer capabilities are required in completing missions after seeing the multiple heroes in the footage

Raccoon City's citizens are now all zombies thanks to the release of the T-Virus.  The team is called in between the events of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 to deal with the crisis.  There are rumors that players may have an opportunity to play as Nemesis himself.  According to a voice in the video trailer, it instructs the combat team to search for a unit that controls a programmed Nemesis.

Fans can find out on March 20th as RE: Raccoon City hits stores for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.  PC gamers can start playing March 18th.
