Clash Of Clans Update Levels Up Barbarians And Archers, New Replay Mechanics, Training Time And Wall Development

Supercell Shows Off The First Of New Clash Of Clans Updates Arriving Soon

The most popular mobile game in the world, Clash of Clans, does not rest on its laurels. A few months back, Supercell upgraded the game to some applause, but it left a lot to be desired. Supercell forum mod Marika has revealed some of the upcoming updates that will soon be hitting the servers and hopefully, in the coming days, several user suggestions will be taken into account.

Marika revealed four new updates, two of which are forum specific. The first: walls can now be upgraded by rows instead of individually. No longer do you have to painstakingly upgrade each piece of wall, thereby exposing yourself to a weak spot should you not be thorough. Additionally, when you reach level 6 walls, you no longer have to spend gold on them; you can upgrade using Dark Elixirs. A bit easier, yeah?

The second non-forum sneak showcases the BARCH attack. The Barbarians and Archers are leveling up. Soon you can train them up to level 7 in your barracks.

The Valkyries got a significant overhaul during the last patch update and it was great to have the fabled fighting maiden in full force, but man, she can take a while to train. Not any longer! The Valkyrie training time will be "significantly reduced".

Lastly, in the tradition of The Art of War, the replay and live replay functions are getting a radical change: "Replays and live replays now show the attacker's available troops so you can see exactly what does and doesn't get deployed, and when." Know thy enemy.

There will be plenty more in the coming week. Stay tuned!
