New Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare Gameplay Trailer Shows Off Goliath Mech Suits, Co-op Survival Mode

Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare Goes Full Titanfall With A Gameplay Trailer That Shows Off The Goliath Mech Suits

The Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare YouTube channel released a new gameplay trailer today that shows off the game's Goliath mech suits, a new co-op survival mode and the stunning in-game cinematics starring Kevin Spacey.

Destiny Becomes The Best Selling New Franchise Of All Time

This new trailer, titled "Power Changes Everything," gave fans their first look at the game's Exo Survival game mode. From what we can see, this co-op style of gameplay looks to have a team of four soldiers in the middle of an enclosed space fighting off waves of enemy combat units. Once one wave is dealt with, the team has a little bit of time to regroup and reload before jumping into the next onslaught of hostiles.

The trailer also showed off the Goliath mech suits that will be showing up in the coming game. It's difficult not to draw comparisons with Respawn Entertainment's Titanfall, watching the soldiers climb into these heavily armed, bipedal machines. The mech suits don't look nearly as big as the Titanfall's Titans, though, so the gameplay isn't identical.

Soldiers in the game also look like they have the option to come equipped with a tether that explodes out of their wrists and yanks an enemy toward the player's position. Imagine Scorpion's "Get over here" attack but with less bloodshed. This attack can forcefully separate a soldier from his Goliath suit, pulling him back out into the real world. It also looks like it can be used on non-armored enemies to throw them off balance.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will be releasing for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC on November 4.
