Are Ya Ready Kids? Tom Kenny Will Be Hitting Up New York Comic Con

Kenny will be there for the last two days of the convention, joining the rest of the veritable cavalcade of nerd-related celebrities that the convention will be hosting.

Kenny has been in the main cast for several successful Nicktoons, voicing characters that have since gone on to become some of Nickelodeon's classics. Kenny made his Nickelodeon debut as the voice of Heffer Wolfe on Rocko's Modern Life before moving on to voice Dog in CatDog. Nickelodeon then gave Kenny the role for which he is probably best known today: the title role in Spongebob Squarepants.

Kenny's voice actor work extends far beyond Nickelodeon, though. If you're uncertain whether or not you've ever seen something he's in, here's a quick and handy test. Have you ever seen an animated television show? Yes? Then you've probably seen at least a little of his work.

The prolific Kenny has had major roles and one-off parts in a huge amount of cartoons. From Cartoon Network classics like Dexter's Laboratory and The Powerpuff Girls to more mature cartoons like Rick and Morty and Stripperella (no, that one is not made up), Kenny has had at least a small hand in creating the worlds of some of the most iconic cartoons of the last two decades.
