Bioshock Reveal Latest Villains 'The Boys of Silence and Handyman'

Irrational Games released the latest previews for Bioshock: Infinite's powerful villains.

The new Heavy Hitters include the Handymen and the Boys of Silence, both designed to wreak havoc for Bioshock players.  These villains may be so strong that players may want to avoid battling them head on.  Here is a description of the game's latest bad boys of destruction.

The Handyman uses brute force to pulverize players with its robotic arms.  The Handyman is big but deceptively agile.  Being built with augmented iron parts, an attack from this mechanical giant can be devastating.

Villain number two, The Boys of Silence are a creepy bunch as they utilize sound rather than sight to track down players.  Utilizing giant trumpet powered helmets, the Boys of Silence can locate their target by hearing and call for backup.  This makes killing them a real challenge.  If taking them on appears to be too high of a risk, players can opt to sneak away from them, showcasing Bioshock's new stealthy gameplay.

Bioschock: Infinite's new villains are a fine example of the game's unique art direction.  The visual designs warmed well with co-creator Ken Levin.  He had this to say about the new character.

"The Boys of Silence... I love them because they're just creepy. Rarely this happens, where I just see a concept and I'm like, 'Oh my god, we have to do that!'"

Release date for Bioshock: Infinite is October 13th and it plans to hit PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 consoles.  Plans are also in the works for a PlayStation Vita release.  No date has been given for the Vita launch.  Check out the videos below.
