Nintendo eShop And Virtual Console Update: Bayonetta 2 Demo, Castlevania Circle Of The Moon, Guacamelee! And Many More

This Week's Nintendo eShop Update Brings A Bayonetta 2 Demo, Another Castlevania, A Bizarre PAC-MAN and More!

It is a brand new end of the week, and that means one thing and one thing only: Nintendo has put some new stuff up on the eShop and Virtual Console. Let's see what's coming down the pipe this week.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse Hands-On Demo At NYCC

Bayonetta 2 (Demo) - the girl with the gunheels is back. The cheesecakey sequel, exclusive to the Wii U, promises 'crazier over the top action. And even bigger climaxes!' You have to hand it to Nintendo, they resisted the hardcore aesthetic for a while, but when they go in, they go all in. Fight angels and demons as everyone's favorite leather clad witch. The full title comes out on October 24 for the Wii U.

PAC-MAN and the Ghostly Adventures 2 - first, admit it: You didn't even know there was a PAC-Man and the Ghostly Adventues 1, did you? New worlds. New friends. New power-ups. Following the colorful characters and world of the PAC-MAN and the Ghostly Adventures animated series, the game features PAC-MAN, Spiral and Cylindria as they defend PacWorld from the ghoulish army of Lord Betrayus. I feel like they're losing sight of the original Pac Man game. Available on October 14 for both Wii U and 3DS.

Stop Freaking Out, You Can Drown Your Sims In The Pool Once Again

Castlevania: Circle of the Moon - once again, Dracula returns and it is up to someone not named Belmont to stop him this time. The 2001 GBA release is one of the better titles to crop up in the series, and now Wii U owners can experience it for themselves. Hours of monster-slaying action await you in five different game modes. Can you rid the world of Dracula's evil once and for all? Of course you can't. Without Dracula, there is no Castlevania. $7.99, available now.

Next week, we'll be getting both Harmony of Dissonance and Aria of Sorrow as part of Nintendo's month-long Castlevania promotion.

As always, there are some Wii U sales going on which you need to get down on:

Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition, the luchador platformer released earlier this year is now $9.75 until October 16.
Gravity Badgers, which is just as ridiculous as you imagine: "For the first time ever a game unites the thrilling elements of Badgers and Gravity to create a stunningly presented physics-based puzzle game that will take you beyond the realms of possibility, imagination and logic to the star-dusted realm of the Gravity Badgers!" will be $2.49 from Oct. 15 until Oct. 29.

Additional sales for the Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3DS

Swords & Soldiers 3D for Nintendo 3DS is $5.59 until 8:59 a.m. PT on Oct. 23.
Darts Up 3D and Soccer Up 3D from EnjoyUp Games for 3DS are massively reduced until October 30.
Color Zen, Angry Bunnies, both for 3DS, and other Cypronia games are on sale until Nov. 25.
Skater Cat, Governor of Poker. I won't lie, I really wanted that to be Skater Cat: Governor of Poker, all one game. Either way, the 3DS titles are on sale until 8:59 a.m. PT on Oct 30.

Finally, other new titles that may interest you this week.

Art of Balance for Wii U is out now for $8.99
Turtle Tale (Nintendo eShop on Wii U) - it's about a turtle whose island gets invaded by pirates, so he arms himself to take em on. Probably won't be telling your kids that bedtime story. $2.99

Petz Beach (Nintendo 3DS) - Available Oct. 14 for...$29.99?
