Super Smash Bros For Wii U Stages: Yoshi's Wooly World Level Revealed, Is Adorable

Super Smash Bros Wii U will be largely similar to the 3DS version in terms of gameplay, characters, and stages, but there are notable differences between the two as well.

The 3DS version had been the focus of most reveals leading up to its launch--the largest info dump for the Wii U edition was delivered recently in a livestream. The reveals included the board game-style Smash Tour: World Smash, eight player battles, playable Mewtwo, and more.

While today's daily picture on the Miiverse forums from series director Masahiro Sakurai isn't a full feature, it is something we have yet to see. He posted the image above, revealing a Yoshi's Woolly World stage:

"Here's something we didn't even announce in "Super Smash Bros. for Wii U: 50-Fact Extravaganza" a stage from Yoshi's Woolly World. This stage was added and developed quite near the end of development. The surfaces are soft and cushiony."

The video referenced is embedded below, so you can watch for any details or announcements you may have missed. While there's no Yoshi's Wooly World stage, it contains a look at the stage builder and the many other features mentioned above. Super Smash Bros for Wii U is due out November 21.
