Surfboards, a deep sea Gargantour, even the ocean was a weapon against our poor opressed plants, but thankfully a few more allies came to assist in the fight. Now, however, a new update is available that brings series villain Dr. Zomboss into joined the mix, on a jet engine-powered shark, no less.

The Big Wave Beach update was just the first of two planned updates, and now Part 2 is now available to download. As with all of the updates for the game it's completely free, although you can pay real money to unlock it if you're lazy or dumb. Once unlocked the update features 16 new levels, three new zombies, and three new plants.

New zombies to contend with include the Zombie Fisherman, the Octopus Zombie, and Dr. Zomboss, who comes swimming in on top of his new "Zombot Sharktronic Sub" that sends waves crashing against your plants.

New plants to purchase include the Homing Thistle, seed-spitting Guacodile, and the Banana Launcher.

As with the first part of the Big Wave Bach update the big change here is the flow of the tide, which will move in and out and cover up plants as it does, forcing you to use water lillies to stay afloat.

Plants Vs Zombies 2 is still free and available to download on both the App Store and Google Play. You should do that if you haven't already.
