The team name is a reference to the fact that three of the four team members previously played together on the team Fariko Impact, a particularly dominant team in Call of Duty: Black Ops II. These three team members are Adam "KiLLa" Sloss, Marcus "MiRx" Carter and Chris "Parasite" Duarte.

The team is rounded out by Jeremy "StuDyy" Astacio.

"The teaming of Mirx, Killa, and Parasite was most known during the "Impact" for their outspoken opinions but also for their ability to win. Coupled with Studyy's playmaking and lighthearted humor we think this team will be the right chemistry to bring a great season and wins to the Noble Organization," Noble CEO Paul Radil said in a release. "It is because of the past of three of the players that we have chosen to have the team named Noble Impact, in the hopes to bring a little bit of the old with a little bit of the new. We look forward to this season and can't wait to see everyone at the events and in the streams."

Noble e-Sports was founded this year and fields teams in many different eSport games, including Call of Duty, Halo, League of Legends and Hearthstone. This year, Noble's team was able to nab second place behind the team from EnVyUs in the MLG Call of Duty League Season 3 Playoffs, which just recently wrapped up.
