The Walking Dead Season 5 Spoilers: New Character Revealed By Creator [RUMOR]

New Location And Main Character For Second Half Of Season

Characters come and go in the undead infested world of The Walking Dead. Last week we lost poor Beth who is just the most recent in a long line of lost characters, both good and bad. Dread Central has broken the news that we're due to get a new one to replace her in the upcoming second half of the fifth season.

New The Walking Dead Cast Announced for Spinoff

If you caught the Talking Dead, the recap show for TWD then you would have heard Robert Kirkman reveal two big secrets.

The first one was that despite fan speculation, Daryl Dixon is not gay. Although there were points in the series that may have hinted at it, sorry all, he's as straight as the arrows that he shoots. Sorry, fans who wanted to believe.

But don't be disheartened, there's another character coming that has been described as a "prominent gay character from the comics". Kirkman didn't give exact details but with a little sleuthing, who he's talking about becomes a bit clearer.

Kirkman is likely referring to Aaron, a character that appeared in issue #67 of the comic. He lives in the Alexandria Safe-Zone which coincidently is where the next part of the fifth season is rumored to be set.

Aaron works as a "recruiter" for the safe zone. His character in the book is the one that leads Team Rick to Alexandria and is the first face of the new arc that you see. Provided that the show follows the book.

This of course is not official but it's unlikely that it could be anyone else given the current information. The Walking Dead comes back in February to pick up and finish out the rest of season 5.
