According to BioWare's blog post on Patch 2, this latest update is focusing on game stability, meaning that users should start seeing fewer crashes, freezing and glitches after they download the patch. Beyond that, the patch takes care of some gameplay issues, improving NPC intelligence and pathfinding while cleaning up the game's UI and controls.

Patch 2 also holds some special fixes for PC players. BioWare notes in its blog post that it's aware of the issues with the game's controls that PC players have been reporting. Patch 2, then, will contain the first few steps that the developer is taking in improving keyboard and mouse controls for Inquisition, with even more improvements said to be coming in the future.

No reason is given for the Xbox One's absence from the list of platforms getting Dragon Age patches today, but BioWare notes that it is "working hard to get Patch 2 out on Xbox One as soon as possible.

As the third game in the Dragon Age action RPG series, Dragon Age: Inquisition sees players return to Thedas one year after the end of Dragon Age II. The player takes on the role of a protagonist known as The Inquisitor.

Dragon Age: Inquisition is now available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
