Beetlejuice Sequel: Michael Keaton Returns As The Ghost With The Most Alongside Winona Ryder? [VIDEO]

Beetlejuice To Return With Cast Intact

Looks like someone said Beetlejuice three times. The classic horror, comedy movie is making a return. Don't worry though, this isn't some terrible remake waiting to happen, this is going to be an actual sequel with your favorites coming back to reprise their roles.

Suicide Squad has Filled Last Major Role for Movie

As reported by Geek Michael Keaton, the man who recently put all other movie Batmans to shame with two simple words,  is returning to take up the role of the loudmouth, slightly perverted, ghost with the most, Beetlejuice.

Winona Ryder will also be returning but whether or not she'll be playing everyone's favorite Goth darling, Lydia remains to be seen.

DC Movie Variant Feature Classics Both New and Old

Also, very important, Tim Burton will be directing so expect a movie that is just as dark and twisted as the original.

Beetlejuice came out in 1988 and focused on a recently deceased couple and their fight against the new tenants in their home. Lydia, Ryder's character, are the new tenants "strange and unusual" daughter. The dead couple summons Beetlejuice to take care of their infestation of live people but his methods are a little unorthodox.

The movie gained cult status and even had its own cartoon for a few years that focused on a friendship between Lydia and Beetlejuice. Good times.

Talk of a sequel isn't new, it was first pitched back in the 90s but the idea never took. Later talks about the movie revealed that if ever there was a sequel it would take place in real time. So expect to see a film where almost 30 years has passed. Other than that, no plot has been revealed. Watch the confirmation video below.
