Ubisoft Update for E3

Ubisoft announced today that it will begin E3 with an invitation only press conference featuring demonstrations and trailers for its upcoming lineup, including games for the Wii U, digital titles, and surprise announcements. After the conference, attendees will be able to see just what Ubisoft is presenting at their booth this year. Standouts announced so far is: Assassin's Creed III, Far Cry 3, Rayman Legends, and Rocksmith.

Ubisoft founder and CEO Yves Guillemot promises this year's E3 to be "one of our biggest and best yet. We're showcasing the strongest, most competitive collection of core titles we've had in years, innovate new games for new platforms and a broad lineup that has something for everyone."

In a show where only industry professionals will be in attendance, Ubisoft is doing what it can to involve the heart of the video game industry: the players. Ubisoft has announced its intention to field questions from players via its online service Uplay. The best questions will be selected and asked by guest hosts during Ubisoft's press conference. They're also sending eight select Uplay members to the conference where they will play the role of reporters, previewing fan favorites, providing video reports, and interviewing teams backstage.

And in preparation of E3, Ubisoft has also released two Road to E3 videos (which can be seen below), showcasing their preparation for the world's largest electronic trade show.

E3 begins June 5th.
