Week 3 is set to begin on Friday, and the developers have two new Forge maps for fans to vote on. One of Orion or Pegasus will make it into the Week 3 update depending on player opinion, as explained in the Halo Bulletin episode in the video below.

The winner will be revealed tomorrow, and the change will take place on Friday as part of the update. The Forge is Halo's level editor and creator, and it's provided many competitive maps in past titles. Pegasus and Orion are shown off in the video, and you can vote for your preference on Halo Waypoint. They are described as follows:

"Your first choice is Orion, an asymmetrical map with two defensible towers where teams will need to battle for control of the Energy Sword, Hydra MLRS, and Sniper Rifle to dominate.

"Next is Pegasus, a large map with long sight lines and lots of opportunities to flank or lay grenade cover. This is a map where teams will definitely want to take advantage of higher ground. You'll also find the Rocket Launcher and LightRifle here - a crucial long to mid-range weapon for defending against the enemy team."

Either of those stand out? They're both more visually appealing than many past Forge maps, which is always a plus. More than just one of these maps is expected in the Week 3 update, with a probably weapons change and hints of Stronghold gametype.
