Clash Of Clans Barbarian King Strategy Video: The Sprinting King Assault Is Absurd, But It Works [VIDEO]

Witness The Sprinting King, The Newest Assault In Clash Of Clans

"I'm wasted on cross country. We dwarves are natural sprinters. Very dangerous over short distances!" - Gimli, The Two Towers.

There's something about a heavily armed dude running into battle that is just exciting. It is in the movies, and so it is in Clash of Clans.

Galadon of the Youtube channel Clash of Clans Attacks thinks so, too and has devised a sort of "Running Man" version of everyone's favorite melee Hero. Dubbing it the 'Sprinting King', it shows off a new technique that involves various two-star victories, and lots of running.

The idea is quite simple and you may ask yourself, why even bother? Sure it looks cool, but why? I refer you to the previous answer. After all your troops are expended - and in the video, Galadon uses a now standard Quatrolavaloonian attack - you drop the king, wait a few seconds, and then drop the Queen. Now, you monitor just where they are tracking and at some point, the Queen will outrun he male counterpart. Let it, she's faster and it's her job.

When you approach the remains of the defenses (and this is only necessary when there are still towers to be dealt with), you pop the King's special ability and have him sprint out ahead and demolish the nearby towers. What this should do, if you play it right, is manipulate the Queen into focusing her attention on the town hall. Now, the King's special will wear off and he will go down, but not before soaking up all the attention - and hopefully taking a few out with him.

All the Queen has to do is keep firing, and you are on your way to a 2-star victory.

We admit, it's a little tricky and perhaps a little absurd a move - one involving one too many steps - but if you're just going to attack anyways, you might as well put on a show.
