I Am Bread Update: New Garden Level Introduced Alongside Free Roam And Baguette Rampage Modes [VIDEO]

Bring The Pain As The Baguette In The New Rampage Mode In The Latest I Am Bread Update

The latest update to the world's greatest bread-based simulator, I Am Bread, has...risen to the occasion today on the game's Early Access page.

Bossa Isn't Just Silly SImulator Games, Check Out Their Upcoming Worlds Adrift

The bi-weekly update Bread Diaries video, hosted by Bossa members Oliver and Malford, lets us know the details. The big change this week is the introduction of the new Garden level, which did not feature any flour related puns whatsoever. Come on Bossa, that one was gift wrapped for you!

Also included are two new game modes: free roam, wherein you can finally wander around as bread, and Rampage in which you control a sentient baguette who must 'bring the pain' (that's a French pun, dammit) by destroying as much of the environment as you can in the time allotted.

Minor bug fixes and an easier way to share gifs and screenshots have also been incorporated into the latest version.

And if you aren't watching The Bread Diaries, you really should. They are an incredibly self-aware, purposefully tacky and terribly acted vlog that shouldn't work, but really, really does. It could be the charming music that is always playing in the background, or the way the two guys each say the other's name every time they start a new segment.

I Am Bread is available on Steam Early Access for $9.99 for both PC and Mac systems. Check out the full I Am Bread 'Bread Diary' below, and you may as well download Surgeon Simulator, too. Totally worth it.
