Star Wars: Force And Destiny Core Rulebook Lets Players Grow As Jedi

A new Star Wars RPG Rulebook has been announced from Fantasy Flight Games. This time, the story lets players follow the path of the Jedi in a time where it is illegal to be a Jedi. Star Wars: Force and Destiny charges players gifted with the Force to find their way in a hostile universe.

New LEGO Star Wars Has A Set For Every Taste And Skill Level

Force and Destiny takes place in the time period just after the destruction of the first Death Star. The climate of the Federation is strongly anti-Jedi thanks to Chancellor Palpatine. Anyone displaying an ability in the use of the Force is in danger.

You play a "Force sensitive" character who must decide their own future as well as where you stand in regards the Light Side or the Dark Side. You will not have the guidance of a kindly Jedi master. You'll be on your own.

The new rule book is a standalone system. You do not need prior books to start a game. However, you can integrate Force and Destiny with the both Age of Rebellion and Edge of the Empire, which are also set in the same time period.

Included in this rulebook is everything you need to play a full game. From all the gear, the skills, and even the information on the history and NPCs that you can scatter throughout the game. The Force and Destiny Game Master kit also includes a complete campaign, Hidden Depths, that players can engage in.

Star Wars: Force and Destiny will not be available until the third quarter of 2015. Interested fans can check out the website for additional information.
