Famous Voices Will Be Gracing The Cast Of Guardians Of The Galaxy Cartoon

Guardians of the Galaxy is coming to the small screen in cartoon format. We all know this was going to happen. It is not a bad thing. But to sweeten the pot, the new show has a knock out lineup of voice actors ready to bring the characters to life.

Guardians Of The Galaxy Will Meet Up With The X-Men In New Coming Crossover Event

The new show will include everyone's favorites from the movie. That means Rocket Raccoon, Groot, Star-Lord, Gamora and Drax will be teaming up on the small screen to save the galaxy.

"The cast for the new GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY animated series has all of us at Marvel animation very excited. These are some of the best, boldest and funniest voices in the business," said Marvel's VP, Current Animation, Stephen Wacker.

Stan Lee Almost Bit the Dust in Guardians of the Galaxy

The voice actors include Will Friedle as Peter Quill aka Star-Lord. Depending on your age you will remember him from either Boy Meets World or Kim Possible. Joining him will be Kevin Michael Richardson of The Cleveland Show fame as Groot. Trevor Devall from Johnny Test is taking on the role of Rocket Raccoon. Vanessa Marshall from The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy will be Gamora, deadliest woman in the galaxy. Finally David Sobolov previously of Transformers Prime will be taking on the role of Drax the Destroyer.

The new show will be premiering in 2015 and is sure to be a fun filled as the blockbuster movie was.

Guardians of the Galaxy follows a band of misfits as they travel across space fighting the good fight and cracking jokes along the way. The new animated series is based on the 2014 blockbuster movie that took charts by storm.
