Square Enix Announces PAX East 2015 Lineup: New Reveals For Final Fantasy XV, Life Is Strange, Just Cause 3 And More

Square Enix has announced its lineup for the upcoming PAX East show in Boston from March 6 through 8. While there are "new" properties making their appearance - that have been revealed at least - players will be able to get a hands on experience with several previously announced titles, updates and continuations to current titles.

Oh Look, GTA V For The PC Is Delayed.

It's a big year for Final Fantasy, with three new titles arriving in one form or another. Players can try out the near final build of Type-0 HD (the PSP remake) at the company's booth. Or stop in on Saturday, March 7 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. to find out all the latest content heading their way in Heavensward, the new expansion for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn.

The panel will be hosted by FF XIV Naoki Yoshida who, "has a habit of announcing things he shouldn't, so you won't want to miss this!" Stay tuned for updates. Additionally, "attendees can pit themselves against the daily Battle Challenges featuring the epic boss from the Final Fantasy series - Shiva. By beating the boss, players can win an exclusive "I BEAT SHIVA" T-shirt." Twitch: www.twitch.com/finalfantasyxiv

Lionsgate And Telltale Games, Together At Last: Adventures In Hunger Games

Much better than an 'I Sit Shiva' shirt...

But, despite both Heavensward and Type-0 HD looking stellar, the only thing people really want is any and everything regarding the upcoming Final Fantasy XV. Maybe we'll even get a release date, and see something other than the most ill-prepared camping trip of all time. Join two of FF XV's lead designers as they go into details regarding this anticipated title. Don't worry, they will be revealing some new information regarding the game. At last! Square's first big hit of the year, Life is Strange from developer DontNod will get its own hour at the Dragonfly Theater on March 6, from 1 to 2 p.m. The game's developers will be on hand to discuss the reaction to the episodic narrative title, give a look at some of the new challenges Max will be facing in Episode 2 as well as giving away codes for the game.

Lastly, key members from Avalanche Studios will be on hand to show off the upcoming Just Cause 3 at the Albatross theater from 6 to 7 p.m. on March 6.

Be sure to hit up the Square Enix booth #4404 to get your hands on these titles. All of this assuming Boston hasn't sunk underneath the snow, Game of Thrones style next weekend.
