New Project CARS Retailer Preorder Bonus Added To Garage; Get Behind The Ruf CTR3 And Live Out Your Dreams In April

Project CARS May Be Delayed, But That Just Gives You More Time To Preorder

Project CARS, the next gen racer, was recently delayed until April, but Slightly Mad Studios is turning that frown upside down: this gives you more time to pre-order the game from a select number of retailers and get a new free car.

The New Batman: Arkham Knight Trailer Is Amazing

Players who pre-order Project CARS from Best Buy, Amazon or Gamestop will gain access to the "Ruf CTR3 SMS-R, a race spec version created by the talented engineers at veteran developers Slightly Mad Studios of the already-impressive Ruf CTR3 super sports car."

"We wanted the bodywork to reflect our idea of what Ruf would really do if they were to make a track-only version of the CTR3, very much like what Pagani did with the Zonda R" says Vehicle Lead Casey Ringley. The result is a car that can top out at 330 km/h with over 750 horses propelling it forward.

Mechanically, the engine is similar to the CTR3 Clubsport with 767hp and 980Nm of torque! That power level puts it on a par with the Pagani Zonda R  and allows it to compete alongside it in the GT1X class in-game.

If any of that made sense to you, you can get the Ruf CTR3 SMS-R via the Modified Car pack, which will have it and the Zonda Cinque Roadster and the Ariel Atom cars ready and waiting in your garage when you fire up the game.

Project CARS is out here in the States on April 7. Plenty of time to pre-order, if that's your thing.
