Call Of Duty Advanced Warfare Ascendance DLC Trailer Shows Off New Maps, Next Part Of Exo Zombie Story

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare's next DLC pack, Ascendance, is releasing at the end of this month. We've learned most of the details about what it will contain, and now a new trailer is showing off the content for the first time.

The new maps mainly feature in the trailer--Ascendance adds four of them to online matchmaking. The four maps are Perplex, Site 244, Chop Shop, and Climate, and you can check them all out pretty extensively in the footage below.

The content will be hitting Xbox One and Xbox 360 on March 31.The Ascendance pack follows the Havoc release and, like the DLC before it, will launch first on Xbox as part of a limited-time exclusive deal. Havoc only launched somewhat recently on PlayStation, a month after Xbox 360 and Xbox One owners got the content.

Dragon Age Inquisition DLC Jaws Of Hakkon Out Now On Xbox One And PC

The trailer is actually a lot of fun, and is pretty light-hearted in tone. It's a whirlwind visual tour through the game's new levels, including an ongoing shtick with a camera man meant to be filming the DLC on location. The levels are pretty varied and take place in some unusual settings, such as an alien crash site at the foot of Mt. Rushmore.

The DLC will also continue the Exo Zombies storyline--featuring John Malkovich, Bill Paxton, Rose McGowan, and Jon Bernthal--that began in the last pack, Havoc. Ascendance will make its gameplay debut at the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Championship on March 29, where you can see the Exo Zombie narrative continue. The pack is available on its own for $15, or as part of the Season Pass for $49.99.
