Official MLB Game RBI Baseball 15 Is Available Now On Xbox One, PS4 And PC With Multiplayer, Full Rosters & More

The eyes of most baseball fans are likely on the launch of Sony's MLB 15: The Show, but another alternative is now available as well.

RBI Baseball 15 has launched on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, an option for baseball fanatics who don't have access to (or interest in) PlayStation exclusive franchise The Show. The game's cover athlete is Chicago Cubs all-star first baseman Anthony Rizzo, and the title is an officially licensed MLB product--it's actually developed and published by MLB.com.

The series itself is very old, with the first release back in 1986 for NES, but it had been defunct since the early 90s. It was brought back last year as RBI Baseball 14, the first title since RBI 95, and the developers are following up their efforts again this year. Rizzo can take you through the features and upgrades available in this year's edition in the video below, though it doesn't show off much gameplay.

Features include full stat tracking, an option to play with classic 16-man or full 25-player rosters, roster updates through the season, online ranked and friendly play, more difficulty levels, and authentic stadiums. RBI Baseball retails for $19.99--not a full $59.99.

As the price difference will likely indicate, RBI Baseball 15 isn't as fully-featured (or visually gorgeous) as MLB 15: The Show, but can offer a different experience. It's also available on several platforms that will not see The Show, so check it out if you need a baseball fix.
