'Diablo 3' Seasons Rumored To Be Released For PS4 and Xbox One

Blizzard Entertainment has implied the possible PC exclusive release of 'Diablo III' Seasons to the PS4 and Xbox One.

PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players might soon be getting the 'Diablo III' Seasons highlight, Blizzard Entertainment clarified in a meeting with a known video gamed website, IGN, on Friday.

The Seasons highlight was originally exclusive for PC, empowering players to make new characters to finish their Conquest targets. 'Diablo III' players taking an interest in Season will get the chance to procure exclusive, legendary items.

The game's leaderboards additionally stay informed regarding the Seasons' top performers from around the globe.

Previously, Blizzard said it had no intention to carry Seasons to the console platform due to their offline and disconnected nature.

Unlike PS4 and Xbox One game releases, Diablo III on PC doesn't need a nonstop Internet connection to run the Seasons leaderboards.

Not able to bolster the leaderboards to set up a steady online group, PS4 and Xbox One game consoles were barred from Seasons, which resulted in a number of negative criticism from support players who felt left out from the PC exclusive loot items.

That being said, senior game maker Rob Foote confirmed that IGN Blizzard will be re-assessing the probability of Seasons for consoles, taking note of that leaderboards and an online group may not be the most imperative piece of Seasons, since a larger part of players aren't gunning for the top performance spots and may be more intrigued by the extra items.

The popular game producer included the announcement that they won't be creating player-versus-player game content, and will rather stick to PvE, thought to be the best piece of the 'Diablo' games.

Including PvP content may wind up harming the PvE part of the game, as confirmed by a Blizzard game designer.

In addition, the primary PvP content arrived months after 'Diablo III' release in May 2012, unmistakably a low need for Blizzard designers who might rather have players battle by means of Season achievements rather than battle one another in the game.

The Blizzard executive did not give a course of events of when Blizzard will release their decision to include Seasons for PS4 and Xbox One, but it did confirming the 'Diablo III' Season 4 launch on August 28.
