'Bitcoin' Creator Revealed: Who Is The Face Behind 'Satoshi Nakamoto'?

The "Bitcoin" mystery is now solved. Australian businessman, Craig Wright, finally owned up to being the true creator of "Bitcoin" to several big media organizations. Carrying enough proof to assume the role of creator, Wright finally let go of the alias, Satoshi Nakamoto.

According to Gulf News, Craig Wright was the official signatory in "Bitcoin" encryption codes. A vital piece of tasks in creating the virtual currency widely used in the digital world controlled by selected users. These "Bitcoins" can be bartered in exchange of whatever they may need from other users, ranging from food to other tech services.

Craig Wright as a computer scientist claimed to be the main driving force of the cryptocurrency as supported by the economist and "Bitcoin" founding director John Matins, cited CNBC. He backed up Wright's claim as he passed his verification of the data he presented. To add, he also gained the support of "Bitcoin" foundation scientist, Gavin Andersen.

However, doubts on Craig Wright's claim to "Bitcoin" continue to circulate due to meager umasking success by revered media establishments before. Moreover, the media moguls approached namely BBC and The Economist insisted that they wish to verify the proof presented by Wright before any more alarms are rung.

Craig Wright insisted that he is not after the money but the false stories being published that triggered his revelation, the Washington Post reported. Despite allegations that the currency is used to purchase illegal items off the internet, Craig thanked the community for embracing "Bitcoin" as a gift to the world of Internet.

In his personal blog, Craig Wright assured further that the work continued as "I have not been idle during these many years. Since those early days, after distancing myself from the public persona that was Satoshi, I have poured every measure of myself into research."

Since gaining popularity in 2009, "Bitcoin" indeed already came a long way. Even if Craig Wright is Satoshi Nakamoto or not, digital natives already benefited greatly from this digital currency.
