'Grand Theft Auto 6' Trailer & Release Date: Cars, Maps & Other Features to Watch Out For [Rumors]

The next big entry in the "Grand Theft Auto" franchise is expected to land target platforms the earliest in 2018. Following convention, the upcoming game is easily dubbed "Grand Theft Auto 6," and if speculations are to be trusted, details about it will be known in the looming E3 2016.

Rumors surrounding the game's arrival are looking at the release dates of previous installments. If "Grand Theft Auto 6" does not come in 2018, the alternative guess eyes sometime in 2020, considering the seven-year gap between Grand Theft Autos 3 and 4. The latest installment was released in 2013.

With Take-Two Interactive's confirmation of Rockstar working out its future projects, prospects are delighted to bet hearing more at the upcoming E3. Other than information about "Grand Theft Auto 6," the hype over "Red Dead Redemption 2" details is also real.

To date, we've seen countless trailers of "Grand Theft Auto 6," but it must be noted that they're fan-made and hence, unofficial. Nevertheless, it's still interesting to look at these clips to get a glimpse of how others assume the next game to be like.

As per rumors, "Grand Theft Auto 6" is touted to introduce more vehicles than its predecessor. Models such as the Cadillac CTS and Chrysler 200 are few of the pegged ones; new Harley Davison bikes and beach-themed cars are also anticipated.

Word along the grapevine also has it that Rockstar is looking out to use the entire United States as the map for "Grand Theft Auto 6." There are countless speculations as to the rumored game's location, but what appears to be the general wish is a new city that has not been explored before - somewhere other than Liberty City, San Andreas and Vice City.

Interestingly, "Grand Theft Auto 6" is also believed to include a female protagonist, which, when true, will mark history in the franchise. Of course, more customization features for the main characters will also be ideal, as well as other improvements not limited to more jobs and houses, better shops and fuel gauges for more realism, among others.

According to Trusted Reviews, it will also be good if "Grand Theft Auto 6" offers a First Person Shooter option from the beginning. A simulatenous PC release is also desirable.

Of course, these are only speculations best taken with caution. Until we hear from Rockstar, we're good to enjoy every moment we spend in existing "GTA" games.
