'Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare' Casting, News & Updates: Kit Harington Will Be The New Face Of The Enemy

"Game of Thrones" star Kit Harington will no longer be your knight in shining armour. Kit Harington is confirmed to be the next villain in "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare."

Kit Harington As The Face Of The New Enemy

"Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" will see Kit Harington a.k.a. Jon Snow as the face of the Settlement Defence Front, Independent UK reported.

Kit Harington is known for his heroic role in "Game of Thrones." This will be the first time that Harington will play an antagonist role.

A video on Activision's "Call of Duty" Facebook page briefly revealed Kit Harington in full motion capture getup as the new villain on Friday, Screenrant added. However, Mashable already spotted a video showing Kit Harington inside a rig on Wednesday.

The rig was pointed out as the same one fans saw NFL star Marshawn Lynch appear in last year. This was for his role in  "Call of Duty: Black Ops III."

"Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" narrative director expressed his excitement over Kit Harington's coming on board.

"Kit is an amazing talent and the consummate pro. Our story is about an epic showdown of opposing forces, and Kit immersed himself into the role," Taylor Kurosaki said. "We can't wait for fans to see Kit play an entirely different kind of character."

Guy Ritchie Works With Kit Harington

Mashable reported that director Guy Ritchie will also be involved in "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare." Ritchie will be working along Kit Harington in developing his scenes. This comes after his work on the trailer for "Black Ops 2."

Guy Ritchie is familiar with the franchise said Infinity Ward Studio head, Dave Stohl. The game developers said it was great to have Ritchie help Kit Harington bring to life his character in "Infinite Warfare."

"Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare"will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on November 4. Watch Kit Harington in action in the video below.
