Don't be a victim of the latest glitch on the popular Pokemon Go game and protect your hard earned collected Pokes by preventing any malware from infecting your game. Recent reports revealed that, because the Pokemon Go game is only available in selected regions, players are bound to download the game from third party sources. According to Forbes, this is where the problem starts and if you're not careful on your sources, be prepared to get inflicted by the malware.

Proofpoint, the security firm that discovered the malware called Droidjack said, a malicious Pokemon Go game hailing from a third party source allows hacker to take full control of the players mobile phone. Compared to iOS, Android phones are more vulnerable to such situation. The "Pokemon Go" malware inflicts players who are unaware of the malicious app. Because Android allows third party sourcing, it's easier for such hackers to invade the phones.

Because the intensity of the "Pokemon Go" malware is so destructive and vast, some security practices were also offered in order to protect your game.

Currently, the only way to get a legitimate  game is to get it from legitimate apps store. Of course, not because you can download a game doesn't mean its free from malware. An easy way to determine whether your mobile is infected is to compare the APK that was downloaded. By knowing the legitimate APK code, you can immediately see whether it's different or similar from yours.

An infected mobile phone by the "Pokemon Go" malware will allow hackers to have direct access on contacts, alter messages, record audios and even modify the current contact listing.
