'Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' Season 4 Air Date, Spoilers, News & Update: Expect A Darker, Guilt-Ridden Daisy Johnson; X-Men vs Inhumans Feud To Surface?

"Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." is set to launch its fourth season soon. There are rumors that Daisy Johnson (Chloe Bennett) will be a different character, darker and full of guilt. The plot may also feature a growing conflict between the X-Men and Inhumans.

Bleeding Cool noted that at the end of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Season 3, Daisy Johnson was shown alone and on the run.

Apparently, she cannot get over the idea that when she was freed and given the chance to face Hive/Grant Ward (Brett Dalton), she wanted to return to him.

Entertainment Weekly cited Chloe Bennett in saying that Daisy is basically in a self-imposed exile at present.

The "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." actress still does not know whether the rest of the team will realize that she was ready to go back to Hive when given the opportunity.

The two people who knows that she would return to him are already dead, so no one at the moment has knowledge of her potential plan.

She expects Season 4 of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." to reveal her intention. Bennett thinks that Daisy may feel that she cannot develop relationships with others because death follows her everywhere.

She has a huge realization that she will also be heading down a dark road, which will eventually affect her entire being. Most likely, Daisy will be darker and guilt-riddled in the new "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season.

Marvel revealed that in the meantime, the X-Men and Inhumans are also bound to clash. "The Death of X" is a series consisting of four issues, which will explain why Cyclops is missing and presumed dead.

The story will change the destiny of all mutants and Inhumans, written by Jeff Lemire and Charles Soule and drawn by Aaron Kuder.

In "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," the Terrigen Mists triggered the rise of the Inhumans. In the comics, the mists is a threat for the X-Men since it causes mutants to become incapacitated or die.

The story features the Inhumans heading to Japan where the mists created a shocking new Inhuman. The X-Men move to Muir Island to try and quell the situation. Cyclops needed to act immediately to stop the extinction of all mutantkind.

The storyline may inspire the introduction of a few X-Men characters in "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." soon.

Season 4 will launch on Sept. 20, 2016, while the Death of X #1 series will release in October 2016. More updates and details on "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." are expected soon.
