‘Battlefield 1’ Latest News, Release Date & Update: Beta Launching After Gamescom? New Game Details Revealed

EA’s “Battlefield 1” is another video game that seems to be drawing raves from gamers though it would help if the game were already ready for play. But based on recent reports, a beta version of the game may be soon out.

Word of such comes from Battlefield community manager Sebastian Moritz who bared that a beta version of “Battlefield 1” should be expected after Gamescom. The event will be held from July 17 to 21 this August, most likely hinting at a late August or early September release.

Battlefield Insiders early access

For some, that could still be a long wait seeing it is more than a month off. And for the ones inclined to really see what “Battlefield 1” game play truly is, there is another way to get ahead of the pack.

Moritz added in the same interview with Twitch that Battlefield insiders will gain early access to the beta ahead of everyone else. Gamers who have been aching to see what “Battlefield 1” has to offer could sign up and get the chance to experience game play ahead of the others.

The planned beta seems to be a public or open beta, meaning anyone can participate. Interested gamers don’t need any pre-purchased game to sign up, placing them perhaps one click away from the “Battlefield 1” experience.

System requirements

With the beta and sign up process looming to be the easy part, game performance questions start to crop up. There is no word yet for now on what the official game requirements would be for PC users which means that could be the next issue that needs to be addressed.

Rush Mode returns

Another key highlight of Moritz interview is confirmation that ‘Rush Mode’ will be back on “Battlefield 1”. It remains to be seen if such will be included in the beta version and on whether there would be iterations from the previous version per Game Spot.
